Les femmes couchées sur le papier orangé de Régis Loisel ne sont ni tout à fait innocentes ni totalement indolentes. Elles sont surtout terriblement vraies. Amoureux des formes, le dessinateur ne gomme ici rien de ce qui pourrait sembler disgracieux. Au contraire, son crayon épouse chaque courbe avec volupté; il saisit l’arrondi d’un ventre, la sinuosité d’une fesse, un repli de peau. Ces dix-huit originaux de 61X45,5 cm exécutés à la manière des sanguines n’en sont que plus exceptionnels. A voir absolument !
De neerliggende vrouwen op oranje papier van Régis Loisel zijn noch helemaal onschuldig, noch echt losbandig. Ze zijn vooral héél echt. Verliefd op vormen gomt de tekenaar hier niets weg van wat onsierlijk zou kunnen lijken. Integendeel, zijn potlood grijpt elke ronding met wellust. Het voelt de ronding van een buik, de sensualiteit van een dij, een huidplooi. Deze achttien originelen van 61×45,5cm in rood krijt zijn meer dan uitzonderlijk. Een absolute must!
